Euan Smylie was born in Glasgow, Scotland on December 26, 1960. He moved to the UAE in 1982 and lived there for the best part of 30 years. He was a natural golfer, a desert biker, a legendary rugby player, a total sports nut and a red wine drinker extraordinaire - above all that he was a devoted husband, a wonderful father and son and a true friend. He is much loved and missed by his family and friends and will always be remembered. The world is a much lesser place without him.
